Dengue Report: 10-27-2019-RMI Dengue Sit Rep

Outbreak Overview 

Cases: To date, there has been 914 dengue-like illness of which 280 have been lab-confirmed. This is outbreak week #24 in Ebeye, #12 in Majuro, #2 in Utrik and #1 in Aur. Symptom and age profile of cases is typical for dengue fever. One death and one severe dengue patient evacuated out-of-country to date.

National Climate Change and Health Policy and Revised Action Plan

Executive summary
Given the vulnerability of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) to the impacts of climate change, the government has developed this comprehensive National Climate Change and Health Policy and Revised Action Plan (NCCHP v2). The goal of the NCCHP v2 is to improve the coordination and effectiveness of measures that will lead the country into a climate-resilient and healthier future.

HeRAMS Final Report in the Republic of Marshall Islands

Executive summary

The Health Resources Availability and Mapping System (HeRAMS), developed and used by the World Health Organization (WHO) since 2009, was primarily used for monitoring health facilities, services, and resources availability in response to emergencies.
