A Marshall Islands repatriation group arrives in Majuro following quarantine in Hawaii in late September. Formerly 28 days, the quarantine period to enter Marshall Islands will be reduced to 17 days beginning in January 2022.

MAJURO — The remarkable spread of the Covid Omicron variant globally appeared to play out for the Marshall Islands, Kiribati and Palau in different ways last week.
The head of the Marshall Islands government's National Disaster Committee (NDC) is hopeful the government will adopt a reduced quarantine policy for people coming to the Marshall Islands starting next month.
